Marcus asks about Hoodoo and if it exists, Acuros thumbs around in his brain and determines that that there are certain aspects of this that hold truth but more study is needed. The group asks more questions about the past and found that Moses and Jesus had not come around yet when he was alive and Acuros had no knowledge of the Egyptian culture prior to his vision about the event. The box and the keys were made of both magic and psionic. The keys were psionic devices wrapped in a magical amulet.
The group finally pull into town. This place looks like a Pleasantville type of town where the median income is $200,000. They find a motel about 20 miles outside of town. Carter does some hacking and found that the body is at the police station. Carter and Marcus decide to pose as FBI agent and Cal as a medical examiner to gain access to the body. Acuros finds out that the widow has taken over the business of her late husband and makes the suggestion that some of the group pose of antique dealers and try to sell the box. Mina and Gator take on this task.
At the police station Carter, Cal, and Marcus arrive and while waiting for the lieutenant they are given coffee. And this is the best coffee ever. They are granted access to the body and the medical report. The body is set to be transferred tomorrow to the funeral home for preparation of the open casket memorial and cremation for burial later. Gossip found: Mr. Kingsley ran his business and kept busy enjoying the outdoors and participated in marathons. He and his wife were active in the community and she was friends with many other wives in the town.
Autopsy/police report: Heart failure. The report is excessively concise and very carefully written. It is perfect. Toxicology report is clean.
Cal inspects the body and found blood pooling, time of death looks in order. All personal belongings are accounted for. There is bruising over the heart and left pectoral. Broken eye capillaries which is indicative of a surge in blood pressure. Cal cuts the y cut and finds that the heart has been crushed. Ribs are not crushed or broken at all.
Carter gets on a computer and looks through electronic autopsy report and what has been deleted. Everything looks immaculately perfect. Nothing. Marcus find the construction and handwriting on both reports are perfectly perfect. Sargent Farris signed reports.

Mrs. K is with Barnard and Jack Rupert, an appraisal expert. Mina hands over paperwork that Carter created for the box. Mina poses as Janina Blankenship and gator as Howard her husband. Tony is John Smith who works for Thistle Whip antiquities, which Specializes in customized exclusive pieces for private collectors. Gator removes the lid to the crate and lifts the box from the crate. It is taken to the back of the building. Mrs. K asks Mina to sign paperwork saying they are no liable for any damage while looking at it, Pictures are taken and examination of the box starts. She is questioning what is missing from the box as she notices that the cushion has an indentation where the skull rested. She suggest X-ray if the box to see if solids gold and have gems appraised. She speculates that all are worth 10 million on raw materials alone and the historical value would be much much more.
Mrs K and her men walk away to discuss among themselves, they are very suspicious of this situation and want to test and examine the box off site, bring back in couple days. Mina agrees to this.

Mina calls Scooter to discuss the case but he has no additional information to help. Carter calls Bobbie and tells him about case and autopsy, Bobby wants to do research and call him back later. Rest of group goes to a meeting with Dr Lovejoy who performed autopsy. He found Heart valve issue but has no answers when Cal asks about blood pooling and all other discrepancies. He is shown pictures and he tell them that those picture don’t look at all like what he saw when he performed the autopsy. Dr. Lovejoy provides a handwriting sample which show not the same perfection as the reports handwriting.
The group goes back to hotel and rest they plan to talk to the Sargent in the morning. Carter hacks the server. Roomies: FBI guys in one room and Gator Mina tony and Connie in another, just to not draw any suspicion if they are being watched. Carter sweeps rooms for bugs, all clear and they go to bed. Hours later Carter's throat feeling scratchy think getting sick goes to bathroom to get meds. Cal hears carter coughing and gets up to check it out. Carter is struggling to breathe. Cal gets tubing and puts down Carter’s throat but it won't go down. Cal decides to do an emergency trach. Carter can't breathe at all now. Cal and Marcus throats are starting to get scratchy. Cal starts to pass out as he is trying to trach Carter. Carter is bleeding and passes out. Cal close to passing out but is able to stop bleeding before he passes out. Marcus steps outside with guns and hits the floor, pulls trigger. Mina and tony hear pounding on wall and gun shot. Tony goes out to and finds Marcus checks air way and starts an emergency trach. Gator goes into room and sees Cal’s hand and goes into the bathroom. Back outside the trach starts to push out of Marcus tony holds it in. Gator gets epinephrine and injects Cal, no effect. Mina goes and gets silver, salt, and holy water, iron- all do nothing to help.

Gator finds something in air duck, Bobbie says to burn it- Carter immediately feels better. Mina finds one under dresser false bottom, she burns it and Marcus feels better. Cal is turning blue, tony tries to trach him but is having a hard time. Mina pulls bed away from the wall and finds another vent with a bag in it. She lights it up. And Cal states feeling better.
